kick votes...do you always vote to kick??

Ok second topic on this

Last night i was playing away happily my score was something like 4 teamplay pts 12 kills no deaths no tk's/team damage/team vehicle damage...no spawn killing...base raping etc etc...basically as clean a round as you could get,which I admit is not always the case for me Suddenly up pops ...????? has started a vote to kick (my name). I was kinda bemused by this so i asked what was up...no reply...asked again...no reply...so ayway next thing i see is 8 votes to kick me!!!!!???????:cry: Now i got to stay due to not enough votes and in typical immature fashion as i had had no response to my queries..I did ask nicely before you ask ...i started a kick vote against the person who tried to kick me Sudenly he/she found their voice. After the usual ''why did you, well WHY did you'' conversation they explained that they had selected me by mistake in an attempt to kick another player:hmm: What i thought was funny was not that the vote started as it's easy to click the wrong box....but that 8 folks had agreed!!!!!:cry:

So it's as if people get a thirst for blood and without knowing why or what has or hasn't happened they like to boot people. Now i have seen this happen to many folks not just me. Also if a kick vote is unsucccessful often it is started again by another player who has no idea why the first vote was started. If you want someone kicked at least explain why and if you vote at least put a wee bit of thought into it.

many times i dont even look at the text..i just press yes or no..

once i got a kick vote because i owned the other team with my tank..."you play to good pls leave the server"...kick votes suck..

I rarely (if ever) vote yes to kick somebody. Unless somebody types out a reason (He's a known TK'er, cheating some how, etc...) and I have been party to this, I will not vote.

I always vote Yes for mutinies, kicks, and pretty much everything else. Why? Because even if you need 10 votes and get 20, nothing happens anyway.

What probably happened was that eight people were just acknowledging their SL's orders ("Attack Here/Defend this position/Move out/etc.") not realizing or noticing a vote was in progress.

I know they won't, but wish DICE would make separate Y/N keyboard binds in the 1.03 patch: one set for kick/mutiny votes and one for teamspeak.

I always press whatever because they never get kicked voted the first time If I see it again then thats when I ask why the kick vote? then I do whatever is right the second time they kick vote.

If its a kick player vote. I look at my players list if they have a bunch of team kills I vote yes ect ect.
I was kicked for being good just a few min ago. I was the squad leader and I was in 2nd place. And then the kick ...

Being kicked for beeing too good??? that is probably one of the most lame reasons ever... Personally, I would love to be on your team....I'm not sure if i want to play against you, but that's just because your good. I wouldn't dream of trying to kick you 'cause you're good. That means that i just have to play more to get better at it...

Being kicked for beeing too good??? that is probably one of the most lame reasons ever... Personally, I would love to be on your team....I'm not sure if i want to play against you, but that's just because your good. I wouldn't dream of trying to kick you 'cause you're good. That means that i just have to play more to get better at it...

No, thats not what I meen. When some one kills some one with a grenade or something they get very angrey and they think if they will kick the person they will get "revenge" Beleve me there are fags like that on the game. And im not that good.

Guys its a bug. The dreaded kick vote bug. It seems that last person who joins the server initiates a kick vote against someone without even doing so. We 1st discovered this when a clan mate put up a kick vote on another. We asked in TS whats going on and they never put up the vote. Then it cycled to another who put the vote up for the same person and it continued all game when nobody really initiated a vote.

I have seen a lot of people get ****ty over this lately, but just remember its a bug. If nobody replies as to why they have initiated a kick vote, then treat it as the kick vote bug. End of story. Nobody ever gets kicked anyway so just ignore it.
