first - try to reboot
I get this sometimes , even from my own clan server
even after playnig few hours
then map swtich, then bam
make sure you are not using a CD crack or emulator program, if you are, you might be getting that msg
if you are using some form of "non-standard" play mode
make sure you do it wisely to avoid that issue

When you uninstalled did you delete all files and folders for BF2, including the Battlefield 2 directory in 'my documents'

You can also try REGEDIT to remove any bf2 entries in the registry..

do a CHKDSK - its "probably" not the case... but if you have bad sectors corrupting data.. it'll do that... im sure.. so .. check your drive.. http://www.maxtor.com/portal/site/Ma...&downloadID=22
