"Shell Shock" never ends

Ya know when a bomb drops close to you - you go into a "shell shock" where everything is a little blury - moves a little slow. Well, when I first installed the game - this happened for a short time and then went away. But since the .02 patch - it lasts for almost 1 min. I either have to commit suicide to get back into the game or try to find a place to hide and wait it out.

Anyone have this happen? Should I just re-install the game & patches?

You can try deleting your cached files, or doing a clean install. I've never had that problem.

Where are teh cached files located for BF2?

Under "My Documents" in the BF2 folder.
