... i can´t geht that air devense ribbon. i tried about 20 times, on all maps with planes/choppers. the max number of kills i got with stinger was 7. thats 4 to go.

any tips how to get it?

No question is 'nooblike' cause we all started as noobs, so to answer your question:

There is a quick,cheap way to get it: Just sit behind it for 15 minutes and you'll get it in instant without working a sweat someone told me.
I got it trought the normal procedure as in killing and shooting to the max.

I get it at Daliant plant. We capped the base at the beach and I shoted the nmy coming from the essex.

I got mine by manning the AA emplacements on the USS Essex in Dragon Valley for the entire round.

i think he' talking about the ribbon, not the badge... so just sitting in it will not give it to you.

i got it (it was no tactic, though...) by surprise, when sitting in an AA gun as commander. didn't really take many down with the AA gun actually, but the artillery strikes counted as kills, too... it seems it doesn't matter how they are made.

i assume that way you could get an armor or helicopter badge, too. i didn't try it though, because i don't want my team to loose a valuable vehicle just for my own stats improvement...

Get in the Linebacker/PGZ/Tunguska.... now here's where the advice gets a little weird: -

Start mowing down infantry, ignore planes and heli's... infantry kills in an AA vehicle count towards the ribbon and it becomes a lot easier.

Mobile AA units are usually best for that ribbon. Namely because you can move around and position yourself in a way you know you'll get good shots off.

Also.. try and get that ribbon on a map with a limited number of jets, and when in doubt.. don't lock onto them as they'll most likely bomb you before you can get your shots off.

A jet will hold.. 1 maybe 2.. a BH will hold 6.. knock out 2 of those.. and you got your ribbon.

Lastly.. don't roam too far from your flag.. they'll come to you, if you go out lookin you'll get blasted by an anti-tank guy or armor most likely. The AA units don't have smoke so try and stay put and look like an empty vehicle until its time to strike.

that's 'cos you just don't sit in them. you need 11 kills also. which is easily done if you're the commander. again, look at my post above...

I just took Tunguska at Zatar Wetlands. One blackhawk, one Cobra and a few ground targets was enough for that badge. Tunguska and any other Mobile AA for that matter is very effective agains infantry. It doesn't fire low enough, so beware of any specops or AT's near you.
