XFIRE keeps reverting back to the default resolution on my TFT screen. How do I force BF2 to go into 1280 x 1024? I've tried editting the .con files and forcing it to load with command lines but couldn't do it.

Go to your Xfire folder, and open up xfire_games.ini with Notepad. Scroll down to Battlefield 2 (not the demo). Find the line that starts out: "Launch= _LAUNCHER_EXE_PATH% +menu 1 +fullscreen 1"? Add the +szx 1280 +szy 1024 to it.
P.S. If you're doing this while Xfire is on, be sure to restart Xfire after modifying the .ini file. -
