Login server down?

I can't log into the game. It's says that the server refused the connection. I'm not talking about any specific server here, I'm talking about the EA account servers.

is it just me or is anyone else having trouble?

I had this problem last night and it lasted for a couple of hours. I had to go away and come back to it. Nothing on my PC changed so it must have been the account server down. Just keep trying.

I've got the same problem here. How lame. You should at least be able to play on unranked servers.

yeah got the same problem...logged onto here to see if i can find a soultion....im guessing theyre server is just down...just glad my computer isnt ****ing it up

The other thread says that it's b/c of the Gamespy stat server update 12 - 3am Pacific. If the stats can still be retrieved, why can't login info also?
