I remeber playing the joint ops demo with my friend, it was so fun, even by itself. Now I must say BF2 is much funner game, but it is just missing some elements that made JO good.

-Swimming in the water. It was really cool to swim in the murky waters in JO. IT was really well done.

-Now my favorite was, standing in vehicles and choppers without having to be static. I loved how you can just drive a jeep into one of those big choppers and load a ton of people into it and everyone can freely walk around and not have to sit. Then when they get to land they all jump out and the jeep drives out and they all attack.
I don't understand why DICE didn't do that for choppers and Armored troop carriers and stuff.


Now I really also like OFP, but I would say it's different game and won't compare BF2 to OFP.

Feel free to add anything.

no ofp is a good game and that would be cool to walk around in achooper and park cars in it and stuff.... but then they gotta make more helipads... and if the chopper crashed think of how much the tks would be meesed up.... and also you would jutd get some idiot who would fly it worun the whole game by himself... or while you were waiting for him to land while you were in a jeep... but i guess you could just drive out :) but then think of how big the shoppers would have 2 be to fit a jeep in... there hummers... not jeeps... but good idea

Theres not really enough room in the choppers for that to be used sucessfully. If we had a chinook though

that would be good, i know with the bf42 engine the vehics would just vibrate to death. not sure bout bf2 engine.

JO was great before the "nerfing".Knife killing under water,hell being able to shoot from the water, snipin at real sniper distances- but then sadly the "nerfing" and "patch" headed by nologic.Now OPF2, (might just be called FP2 for legal reasons) looks promising. I like the quote and think it went "Thousands in war hundreds in battle" it boast large scale maps 400 k x 400 k, there is a review from e3 floating around on the web.If I remmeber correctly it comes out 4th quarter 06.

The BF2 "Engin" can't handle that.

Thats just EA never getting around to it.

I bought J.O. I loved the 150 player battles and the frigin huge landscape. Very bugy in the begining. though BF2 was better gameplay wise. J.O. had a lot of great stuff! But it didn't do so well with the sniper problem. If the two companies (Navalogic & EA/Dice) would team up. Im sure some kick ass game would come out of it!

yeah thats the plane from DC if im not mistaken! That ac130, i think it was all black though. You could just run in the back and fly around when it got air-born. *lots of fun for a while*

yeah but you couldn't walk around, and if you left your position, you would still be inside, but you can't do anything but run towards the front of the plane to stop from falling out the back

Javelins would be awesome in BF2. Could been a nice unlock for a Anti-tank weapon.

it was prob easier to just have seats for the heli instead of just walking around so ppl wont fall out by accidently
