If it wasn't for omega drivers, I still wouldn't be able to play BF2 for more than a few seconds. Apparently the 9600XT has some sort of glitch in it that appears randomly if you're using official ATI drivers.

I was reading here http://www.tweakguides.com/BF2_1.html that the omega drivers are tweaks of the ATI drivers. So if there's an underlying problem in the ATI code it'll probably be in the Omega drivers too...
