confused? veteran knife /pistol

my son has
85 knife and 142 pistol kills
plays only ranked servers
yet still has only basic medals??

for knife he needs 7 kills in 1 round and pistol also needs 7 kills in one round

He needs to get 7 pistol kills in one round to get the veteran badge, and the expert is 500 total and 18 in a round.

he has the BASIC medals, which means 7 in 1 round was already done
does he need to get 7 in 1 round again?
if so, then easy (for him)

just have him try it again,i think it doesnt count towards your 7 kills in a round when you get your basic if you get what im saying,i had to wait tell i got 100 globel kills then after i got those kills had to get 20 kills i 1 round for my gold

i got my basic and veteran in one round, i had 50 kills when i went it, and shot all the noob cannon noobs, and won both...the expert kmife is a hard one

The expert badge is hard to get but i only got it cuz i played on a knife only server,i didnt stat whore like alot of ppl where doing i just run around having knife fights which was pretty fun,it was something new but since EA thinks that all knife server are exploit servers it took the fun away but o well

The 7 in a round you get for your basic does NOT count toward your veteran - you need to get 7 in a round AFTER the 50 kills. Oh, and expert knife badge is fun... got mine on Karkand, running in zig-zags down the streets at people wielding a knife, and sometimes killing a medic + his revived buddy

Isn't playing on a knife only server by definition stat padding, you are playing outside the bounds of a regular game (ergo why EA started cracking down on racked servers that do it), am I missing something here?

There really needs to be a sticky on the pistol/knife badges. It seems everytime I come to this forum I always see some thread about "i have X knife/pistol kills blah blah....yet i still don't have the badge".

i dont see how its stat padding when must of the people on the server where not even medics,in all ever server can become a stat padding server i just think its EA trying to act big and think there tuff i dont see why they care they have there money what else do they want

wish I was as good as he
