Physical grenade kills...not explosion

Has anyone else thrown a grenade and then watched the guy you threw it at die before it explodes??? I've done this twice now and was trying to figure out if the impact of the grenade hitting them does ANY damage, and yes, i did get the kill for it. It's actually pretty funny when it happens...

Yeah, it happened to me today, came across two enemy's, shot one, tried to nade the other, killed him instantly before the nade exploded :p

Yup. Friend of mine had like 1 health and was hiding in a corner. Just for fun, I decided to fling a smoke nade at him. Hit him in the head, and I got a TK. Woohoo! My only 'kill' with the smoke grenade.. lol :laugh:

Haha, I've gotten team damage from throwing a smoke grenade at a flag point as well, I wonder how much damage it casues?
