    a little confused

    before battlefield 2, i never bought 1942 or any thing else battlefield related. i want to know, when lots of mods come out, is it going to be like, only the person that downloads them can see the difference, or the entire server is set for that certain mod and everyone can see it. if that made good enough sense...

    because all these new things look so cool and different,i wanna know.

      Some mods are for singleplayer only because no server runs the mod , other mods have servers running them and so you can play this mod online against other players.

      You can not play with modded content on regular servers.
