Nick Colour

I was playing recently and noticed a player on the opposite team had changed their nick to display different colours.

Any idea how this is done and if it can effect your account?

Will give you orange text. I do wonder if EA/DICE would remove this in the next patch, as it can be quite irratating when used in names.

put |ccc| where you want the orange to begin.
i hope they remove the orange function, i don't like it either.

When you say add |ccc|, where does this need to be added?
(I'm not all that up on this sort of thing)

Is it only orange that you can change the colour to?

it doesn't have to be |ccc|.

it can also be |cyphe or |cool| the key here is you MUST type |c and then followed by FOUR OTHER CHARACTERS.

so |c1234 will work also or |crush etc.

The game itself uses |cxxx| to start the color code, and |cxxx| to finish it. For example, the next time you are invited to a squad, decline the invite, then hit the tilde key. In the console, look for the line with the text. You'll notice the color codes in it. Quite cool too.

Just make sure |cxxx|NOT|cxxx| to abuse it.

Then everybodies name would have that ugly |ccc|, |cypho, etc. tag in front. =D

true that, playing on karkand when US people get to your island while everyone is still on the front lines, i do a capital orange text to tell everyone they are there...

welll in 1.03 youl b able to put a clan tag to ur name but wot dus gamespy accout name do 2 ur bf2 account name becos it comes up in bf2 my gamespy name
