Not necessarily, one says no repairing in-flight, the other says you can repair in-flight, it's just slower. I'm more inclinded to believe the latter.

And I think it's not needed to select wrench, just be an engineer.
I remmenber once giving a ride a guy and he was setting at the gunner pos. and the helo started to receive ammo.

Ammo and medics can sit in any seat and give out ammo and health

I think seats 4 and 5 can repair the best. Some seats don't let you. This is either on purpose or a bug.

this isnt on purpose or a bug -- always aim with your wrench at the roof -- its the best place to quickly start repairing

ammo and health is auto, now if you are on the helo as and engineer, and get close to friendly vehicle you will repair him automaticly, but you will not repair the vehicle you are in automaticly, you have to do it manually for the vehicle you are on.

Press Enter...when the map screen comes up...down on the lower right hand corner there is a "suicide" button...press it and when you respawn, there will be a nice new shiny black hawk ready to go. (Although I like the poster who said press the E key too)

Just teasing...I think you got your answer...and I just couldn't pass up on the chance to get a dig in...
