Lag hiccups

I have this problem that makes it really hard to fly a helicopter. Even on servers where I get decent ping (40ish), the game will regularly freeze for a fraction of a second. THis happens a few times a minute. When i'm flying low, it would freeze for a split second and all sudden i'm headed toward the ground. It's way embarrassing and makes people think i'm a noob! I don't think it's a graphics problem since the framerates and everything else are silky smooth. Does anyone else have this problem? It's really frustrating...

Hope it isn't a problem with the ISP, because I can't really change that.

Don't ask for help and then not post your system specs, but I am almost certain it's RAM. You probably need more of it. That used to happen to me when I had 512, but I haven't seen one of those lag spikes in over a month (the time I've had my new computer).

It's not network Lag it's your system, be it memory or video. Post your specs and we'll narrow it down. In the meantime you can lower your settings and the biggest impact will be either turning off AA, if you 're using it, or lowering the resolution.
