Updating My New Rank

Hey, has anyone had problems lately with BF2 updating your rank? I know it takes awhile to update but I've given it 2 hours now...BFHQ says I have 10,581 points. Ok that's 81 points over what I need to get Corporal and a new gun? What the hell do I do? It's kinda getting on my nerves. I've opened up BF2 seeing if starting it up again would bring up the dialogue box saying that I've reached a new rank and can now pick my new unlock, but noooooooooo. Any suggestions? Will going into a server and getting a point do something?

Yeah, go into a server, get a few points, make sure that it gives you the little drumroll and notifies you that you ranked up, then wait for the round to end and exit. That should do it.

Alright thanks I'll do that now...I was just too lazy to wait the 10 minutes for the damn server to load.

it actually takes u 10 minutes for the server to load. it only takes round a minute for me

Well actually, that was a minor exageration. Do you sit around with a stop watch timing how long it takes to get into a server? I know I don't.

Anyways back to the topic subject, I went into a server, lobbed a grenade onto the balcony on Sharqui Peninsula, and boom :drum roll: corporal. I got the G3...but I dunno I think it might have been a bad mistake. Maybe the G36C would have been a better choice...Oh well.
