  • How do you enable vsync?

I am on an lcd capable of 60 hz max. Where the hell is the in game option that allows you to turn on vsync so that my fps isn't going above 60 and i don't get horizontal tearing?

You can force it in your display driver settings.

Doesn't work. I don't really know how to. Can someone tell me with the steps so it will work?

It would be a lot easier if you told us what gfx card you have, ATI and NVIDA have their own control panels.

Look for an option called V-sync Always On or similar.

6800gt from BFG, 256 mb. I tried doing that vsync always on but it still goes above 60. In the profile i made for BF2, i hav vsync as on, and it is checked.

Here is proof (sorry for the hypersnap logo, my trial expired): 650) {this.width=650;this.alt='Click to Enlarge';document.getElementById('http://tinypic.com/dnlmpi.jpg');document.getElementById('http://tinypic.com/dnlmpi.jpg').innerHTML=document.getElementById('ht tp://tinypic.com/dnlmpi.jpg').innerHTML+'
          [ Resized Image - Click to Enlarge ]';}" onmouseover="if(this.alt)this.style.cursor='hand'; " onclick="if(this.alt) window.open('http://tinypic.com/dnlmpi.jpg');" border="0">

              i don't really understand what you're saying.....im a little drunk

but if you want to limit the frames per second there is a console command (press ` ingame)
game.lockFps 60 (or however many fps you want)

If you have Nvidia it should work through windows.
