There are times in the game when you litterally "dont know what hit you".. This happens a lot with c4 or nades. I bet he tossed in a nade and shot you at the same time..

Other than that, I agree.. Im tired to people who yell "hacker" everytime they die. I dont know how many times I have been banned from servers for getting on the 3 roofs south of the bottom MEC spawn on Karkand. *For all you butthole noob-admins who have no freaking clue as to what you are doing, you can jump on supply crates.. 1 supply crate on the roof of the buidling just due south of the flag and you have access to 3 other rooftops.. quit banning people for "hacking" when you have abso-f-u-c-k-i-n-g-lutly no clue what you are doing..** rant over.

I was a sniper on Mashtuur, laying in the grass in front of the first CP sniping the mosque. Then a SpecOps and an assaul were running in my direction, but didn't see me. I took out the pistol, killed the SpecOp with one (head)shot (remeber: SpecOps and Medics have no armor!) and the assault with the rest of the magazine to the chest. So it's possible to kill SpecOps and Medics with one shot to the head!

As a sniper I managed to take out an engineer with one shot to the head using the pistol. I was surprised but it just goes to show that it can happen...

Maybe he didn't realise you were a medic and able to heal yourself, so he charged with the pistol expecting your health to be low enough for him to get a few rounds from the pistol to the torso to take you down.

Sometimes i charge enemy's even tho i have a bad kit, since in some situations you just know you are going to get shot in the back.. better try to kill them then to be caught running like a lil bitch :p

If he got a headshot...he could have killed you very quickly (not sure about one hit). Dont know how much armour you had.

It could have been a stray bullet...happened to me alot.

I really wish people would quit calling something an exploit just because they got owned. It's getting old...

AGREED... GO watch an Oliver Stone flick ffs, everytime someone gets pwnt its "an exploit". No offense, but as buggy as this game is, I doubt there'd be serious enough holes in the code to allow for exploits like this...LOL. Aimbot, wallhack, sure, but aimbot isnt going to kill u with 1 pistol round.

I'm curious how guys like this are 100% sure that they only took 1 pistol round and magically died, when it could be a number of things...

1. as mentioned before, the pistol is silenced and therefore he could have put several rounds into your dome

2. another far-away ub3r 1337 sniper put a round into you before the pistol hit you, giving him an easy kill with, yes, one round.

3. any other enemy besides the afforementioned sniper could have put a round into you, from anywhere.


Point is, no matter how strange it is, there usually is a valid explanation....

I was playing Gulf of Oman as the MEC an hour or so ago and I was a medic. I was at the hotel base and had recently been sniped by someone laying in a grassy area behind the base (I wasn't dead though), so I went behind the hotel to take cover and heal. I do so, and then take out my AK101. Full health, I come around the hotel ready to charge at the sniper, only to find he is coming around the same corner to charge at me with his pistol. I let off the first shots but then this guy releases 1 shot from his pistol and kills me instantly. What's wrong with this picture you ask?

1. The fact that a sniper would come charging at me instead of staying in his spot. There's no worse kit to charge at someone with than a sniper. I am aware that he could have seen I was a medic and sought to prevent me from healing myself, but the odds of an AK101 losing to a pistol during an extremley short range encounter when both soldiers have equal armor is probably about 5:1.

2. He managed to kill me with ONE pistol shot. From my experience even a single HEADshot with the pistol can't kill anyone. If someone could test this though, that would be great.

3. The fact that he managed to survive that burst of AK101.

I have had a similar experience in which I was killed with 1 shot with the sniper's pistol even though I had shot the guy who killed me in a way that was sure to kill him.

First of all that sounds very srtange second of all I think EA/DICE should implemnt 1 shot 1 kill meaning if u get shot in the head you should drop *edit* lol IMO

Yes, a number of different things are possible, however, we were at close range so it was perfectly easy to hear a silenced pistol. If I was sniped right when he killed me, it would be a HUGELY unlikley coincidence, and like I said, this has happened to me before (getting killed in one shot with a sniper pistol after being sure I should have killed him). As for getting owned, READ my first post and tell me that was a just defeat.

Maybe he bound the fire button to the mouse wheel so he has the ultra-fast fire mode on. Who knows? This game never fails to give me reasons to scratch my head from time to time, and I've had things like that happen before, too. I guess it could have been some sort of aimhack, but most likely the guy just dubba-tapped you in the head. Seems unlikely since opening up full auto with an AR while charging at someone five feet away usually results in nine out of ten bullets missing (I've had that happen to me so many times you wouldn't believe :p ), but it could be the case. Maybe the BF2 gods were not on your side that game.
