Man, if you don't like them, SHOOT them. It's not that difficult to take one out, we do it all the time.

As for the piloting, I have been using a joystick since BF Vietnam, and I will never go back. I can pull some of the craziest stunts to get away from attacks, and I like the feel of a LARGE handle in my hands....ouch...was that gay?

Seriously though, the joystick, in my opinion, is a must if you don't like dying while flying a helicopter. I have a buddy though, using KB/mouse, and he also cranked the sensitivity, and he's just as good a pilot as I am. I'll go an entire round without dying, happens alot without any other good pilots in the air

So how did you get so many points, not to mention avoid getting killed at least once?

You only get 2 points for capturing a flag, even in a chopper, yeah? I just don't believe it. I see people like you with these massively high scores and NO deaths and refuse to believe you didn't cheat.

i was support and ppl was tossing nades and stuff out of it and getting kills the ones on mini guns would get lots of kills so i get assit with that as well. Then when others would heal/repair i would get pts for that cause im driving. i never had to get out of the chopper the enitre round. the other team kept taking over CP's so we would go back and take em as well

as for you saying i was cheating its called i am a very good black hawk driver ive spent lots of time in empty servers trying to get better and better at it. plus my squad and team was very very good

i know its easy and gives alot of kills aswell but that does not mean i have to like them:p

for piloting i have used keyboard only since bf1942 and considering i'm not a good pilot i've done pretty well and killed alot of ppl, this matter of joystick or keyboard +mouse or keyboard only has to be tried and not heard from someone else, the skill is different from person to person, and u have to try each to see wich one u prefer, myself i've tried them 3 and the one i do better with is the keyboard only.

I'm proud of the fact that I managed to get the helicopter service ribbon (18 kills) alone in a attack heli on Kubra Dam. Took me ages to get that thing. I use a Microsoft Sidewinder Pro 2 Force Feedback for flying Helis and planes. Up until BF2 I swore on using mouse/keyboard for helis but it works well with the joystick. I give my fingers a rest at the same time too!

there was no cheat there, if u look closelly the map he played was mashtur city and he got that score by whoring with the blackhawk.

pretty lame if u ask me, and even lamer the fact he actually posted here so we all could see how he just flag hop with the flag hop... he should be ashamed of himself... man reaaaaaally ashamed

Not to my knowledge.

I think it only affects mouse sensitivity. Good question though.

I have tested with and without, no differences that I noticed.

I have never noticed any difference either...but this thread is ABOUT using mouse sensitivity settings to help fly using a joystick...

if you have engineers at the back and they all die, fly away from the hotzone and wait for you engys to respawn and repair the bh. do it x amount of times and you'll last a round without dieing in a bh. can easily be done in mashtuur....

i used to use WASD and arrow keys to fly choppers but i never used to kill anything so i gave up. then i started with a mouse and its so much easier to aim and kill things. also turn up your PITCH and YAW factor, i think they increase the rolling sensitivity (moving the mouse left or right), it also makes it easier to manuver

How is this achieved?
