As soon as I hit the login button for my BF2 account, BF2 attempts to find the account server for an extended period of time. Finally the game loads and places into a random BF2 game server. Other people that I have talked to report that, when they load BF2, it does not autoconnect them to a server like mine does. If I use the BF2 Autoloader software, I connect to the account server very quickly and am placed into the server that I chose to connect to from the autoloader. However, if I launch BF2 normally, I get placed in the random server. Any info on how to stop this would be greatly appreciated. I have checked and unchecked the "Auto Ready" option and it made no difference. Thanks.

Yes, just click the "Play Battlefield 2" and not the "Play Battlefield Online NOW!" button.Comment
