Enginner mine tactic

Please let me know if this was already posted.

My tactic is, LEAVE VEHICLE TRAPS! What I mean is, leave ANY type of vehicle out in the open, with a mine in the front and back, UNDER the vehicle, so they can't see it. 9 times out of 10 they'll fall for it. It worked everytime I did it just a few minutes ago

Putting mines in back of vehicles while they're trying to capture flags is always effective and fun. Plus mines go great on those water pathways where you can barely see them.

I can't tell you how many kills I've gotten on Cleansweep by mining those water ways. More often than not, it will be a boat that cruises through the shallow area and not a vehicle.

be shure not to totally block a CP area exit with you mines. allways lay them in a diagonal line on a road, so your troops can drive between them.

but i guess you allready know :)

What works for me is putting a mine on the top, then throwing a grenade. The blast from the grenade knocks the vehicle, setting the mine off

ya ill do that once and a wile but u have thos dumbass Team mates that will take it thinking its C4, then they punish u. so i dont do it.

Yeh most of the time teammates eat my mines. Even when I leave LOTS of space. Hell you even get the ones that SEE you put the mine down. Drive around it and then another tank or whatever comes along and they reverse up into it! Then punish you. YAY!

I find the best way to get kills is to sneak into an enermy base and mine their vehicles. The problem is you get killed easily and you are probably better off just stealing the vehicle and trying to cap the flag. Or someone caps the flag after you have mined thier base and you kill all your teammates! yay.

i always try to place these on linears in the texture/geometry or dark splotches on the ground. on kubra dam for instance, way up on the dam crossing there are seams in the road, lay your mines on there following the line, and people often overlook them.

slow vehicles like tanks tend to take the quickest routes, so if there's obstacles in a curve, place a mine in a direct line between these obstacles.
