i ask because you need 15 repair points for veteran and 25 for expert badge......its silly

Do you automatically repair or do you have to do something special?

in the BH - which this refers to , "someone aboce said you have to hold your wrench out in a non-gunner seat"
well, that is NOT enough
you also have to move your aimpont, so you are "looking" at the inside frame of the helo, then
you will get a double circle
then, you have to hold down your left mouse button
and sometimes it will not work even if you do it right
there is a bug that sometimes prevents BH repair in flight - so be sure to watch the BH health bar
it might not move, even though you 'hear' the repair sound
