How do I create LAN w/one CD-Key?

I have two computers and want to be able to plat BF2 on the same servers. When I try to connect the two to the same server online it says my CD-key is already in use. (I'm trying to use the same CD) When I try to create a local sever my other computer still can't join. It see's my server but won't connect?

You can't legaly, you need 2 copies of the game. Now if you want to know how to illegaly then that shouldn't be discussed on the board.

its all there in that EULA you agreed to when you installed the game.

1 copy per machine.

I could do LAN games with just one CD-key, but it only worked when one of the two computers was the server, and not the other way round...

...anyways, 2 player LAN sucks unsuprisingly, though can be OK for messing about in jets...

...Just buy another copy of the game and both play online... slightly more fun to be had.

What you are asking for is illegal. 1 copy per machine playing simulataneously.

So you can't even play LAN with 2 people and 1 CD Key? That's stupid, Did you try creating an offline account on both comps and playing LAN with them?

ok i think we got to the end point of this discussion. You cant play lan with one cd key, now before someone posts something we dont want this is closed...
