If your the squad leader, in the squad choice screen at the bottom is a button called "Manage Squad". Click that, then check the boxes of the people you want to ask to join your squad.

real quick question, I always invite guys to my squads but what do the diffrent colors mean. There are gray guys and green guy you can check on. Which are on a squad and who arent?

HUmm I mean under the manage squad menu...I think its green or gray guys, maybe bold and unbold guys? ether way I would like to know :-P

Probably green guys are people already in a squad, gray lone wolf. Having just learned this bit of info, just my logical guess.
