When you see an enemy tank or vehicle trying to cap a flag i usually run up behind them and place an at mine then run around the front and put one there too. Move forwards or backwards, either way they will die.

Instead of throwing on ahead and behind I always throw one on top of the vehicle. They move a few feet and boom....its over.

thanx, i never realy been able to kill any tank w/enineer because they never run over the ****** mines! Obvious tactic-i feel so stupid... :-(

I hear that, since the 1.03 patch, mines can now bow up from grenades. Although I haven't tested this out myself, it stands to reason that you can simply place a mine on or near a tank and toss a granade at the mine to blow the tank up. So, no more waiting for the tank to move.

Of course, I haven't tested it yet. Once I try it out first hand, I'll post here to confirm that it does in fact work in reality.

it also works with claymores...the other night some ahole team mate put claymores next to the plane spawn spot, obvious red skull and cross bones, there was a tk fest going on. all i did was toss a nade at them and one nade on claymore down but it has to be right next to it and its 1 for 1 i had to use 2 nades for the 2 claymores and they were right next to each other

Yes the engineer bomb does work -- put the mine anywhere near the tank and detonate using a grenade -- as long as the edge of the explosion touches the vehicle, bye-bye vehicle

You can also chain the mines together and space them far enough out that you can make a big blast radius with a single grenade (also artillery will set off your mines getting you kills too)

And use the mines on clusters of infantry too if you're fast enough
