Ok, this was debated a little when the game first came out, but it wasn't much of a debate, so here goes. I know everybody loves the nooblauncher for assault, that's the main reason that people play assault. They also have body armor, but that isn't much motivation to play assault. Medic can get lots of points for reviving, not too much for healing, and can heal self. Plus, for anti-noobnaders, you get reg grenades, and is a good class for when you need to clear rooftops, and you want the regular Assault weapon. I prefer medic, it's fun reviving people, plus, when there's only like 10 or less tickets left on your team and you win, you know you made a difference.

Re: Medic vs. Assault
In a functioning squad, I would definitly take assault. Assualt can withstand a headshot, medic cannot.
Stood right next to my friend and shot him in the head with L85 (he was assault), took him to like 3 bars of life left. He shot me in the head...and you get the point.
Gren launcher definitly needs to have a minimum distance to activate. Its far too easy to kill someone point blank and live.
The ability to heal yourself on the run will always be more useful, but I kinda feel that medics should not be able to heal themselves (I primarily play medic and I feel this way). It would promote more teamwork. Points wise, Medic is the ultimate whore...next to those losers who use armor all the time.Comment

Re: Medic vs. Assault
Assault is pointless. If it had HE grenades instead of smoke, and they did damage to armor it may be better. But its exactly the same as medic, apart from ****ty grenade launcher and armor, medics can heal themselves anyway and get points for healing and reviving they look better too. Only thing assault has going for it is the G3. The grenade launcher is whored way too much, and when things are whored it means they are easy to do/use and because they suck using other tactics.Comment

Re: Medic vs. Assault
They both have their own place, but i prefer assault. Assault is what i play when i want to be ' in the zone ' - totally focused on killing and capping. Theres no way i can do that if im a medic there too many people screaming for my bandages. So for me at least - it comes down to not the weapons but the class. They both reflect a subtle change in gameplay style wich adds variety.Comment

well um dude, the L85 does 32 damage. Head shot does triple damage, if you were holding an AK it woulda killed him.Originally posted by TheHybridIn a functioning squad, I would definitly take assault. Assualt can withstand a headshot, medic cannot.

EDIT: and body armor is only to the chest, legs, arms and head have no body armor.Comment

Sorry, I didn't bother to read the stats. I guess I had the crazy notion that a 5.56 bullet to the head would kill someone at point blank range. Go EA!Originally posted by Eddy01741well um dude, the L85 does 32 damage. Head shot does triple damage, if you were holding an AK it woulda killed him.
