Increasing LOD distance???

I know that in BF42 and BFV? this was possible. Is there a tweak to increase the draw distance for lighting and objects. Objects will morph and change around at different draw distances... takes away from the rest of the nice graphics. Thanks guys.

There's no console command to my knowledge, even on high geometry setting it still blows.

Yeah I believe it's the most important setting in any fps game, I don't care much for AA but I have to have a good LOD setting. The source engine lets you max it, why can't we do it in BF2? I guess some will argue it will be an unfair advantage for those who max it or something :|:.

I tried the method that worked for DC after the 'optimization' patch.

Didnt work, still get jeeps appearing out of nowhere and magically disappearing armour, if they reverse a few feet in a fight.

Needs fixed. 100 % view distance, should be 100% view distance.

Yeah, I asked this a while back in the client support section. It's annoying when a tank drives off and it looks ****ty if it's not in your face. If anyone knows of one please tell us!

nvm, there isnt one....but the view distance option... says 1...what if we change it to 2, 3 or even 4 "ultra high" idk....but uhm yeah......

When it says 1 it means 100%. I use to have mine on 1.5 so as it would be 150%. But i do not think it did anything. I shall try it now.

i believe changing the variables count as hacking, if you are aiming to use this in MP.

No dude the worst that can happen if you change some values is on some servers PB will kick you, that's it.
