I unlocked the M95 simply because I don’t like using the MEC and PLA sniper rifles, since they make a ton of noise and easily give you away. As far as damage goes, anything but a head shot will leave your target near death, with only two bars of health left. Because of this, don’t be surprised if you get a lot of kill damage assists from other members on your team finishing off your targets before you do.
Yes, the M95 is slower than the M24. However, the deal is that if your target just has a tiny bit of damage, your M95 will make short work of them. And yes, it takes practice to use, just like all the other unlocks.Comment

I went through the trouble and unlocked the L85 and the M95. They both suck. I rather use the regular Medic guns over the L85, and the M95 only replaces the SVD and the Type 88. The M24 still outperforms it by far.
The PKM is overhyped. The SAW and other Support weapons can still hold up, so the PKM isn't that much of an upgrade.
Shotguns (DAO, Jackhammer), automatic or not, are still shotguns. They'll rip everything apart in close range, but that's about it. The long reload doesn't help either.
The G3 is pretty good, but I don't see the point of unlocking this weapon when it doesn't give you a real advantage over other infantry. Sure, you have armour, but you're missing what makes the Assault class special: the noob cannon
That leaves us with the G36C. Probably the best "investment" you can make. This gun can rip everything apart, close range and far, and there's a lot more oppurtunities with C4. Not to mention that in the future, you'll get points for destroying enemy assets.
