right now its at

color clock freq: 299 mhz

memory clock freq: 552 mhz

which are the defaults how high can i safely overclock it to?

What you can overclock it to varies from card to card. 300/550 is stock.

**** i dont know the brand, because i didnt specificaly buy the card it came with my machine.. umm als i know is its a Nvidia 6600 256 mb.

just start cranking it up untill you get visual problems and artifacts or it overheats.

Core: 490
Mem: 565

and thats stock cooling.
