well it first came out in POE you could chose between HEAP and SABOT and indeed SABOT was anti-tank and HEAP(HEP, HESH, HEAT) an infantry wrecker

I feel that having a weapon like that would be more of an idea to add more "stationery" weapons to the game, such as the ability to give engineers/commander the option to "build" emplaced weapons, and have 2 people man them or have one Support person man/co-man and one person gun.

Theres lots of ways to make all ideas function with limits, and without overkilling the battlefield. Another idea for maybe now or the future. Or never, personally im mainly intrested in optional kit equipment.


btw cant wait till its out in full military production along with all the other new weapons coming in real life. *drools*

I have three things:

1: we really need edits to the current weapons, like when you fire a round while looking down the scope of the M24 or the M95, it takes you off of the zoomed view, what it should do is chamber the next round while leaving you in zoom mode so that you can follow your target. Things like that and the addition of binoculars to the Sniper and Spec Ops kits.

2: Also, there should be two default weapons that you can choose from for each kit, i mean like it was in Battlefield Vietnam, that way every single person on public servers aren't running around with the same three kits: Sniper, Spec Ops, and Medic. Take the assault class for example, you should have the choice between an M16/M203 or an M16 without a grenade launcher and instead have hand grenades.

3: something needs to be done about the smoke grenade in the assault kit. there needs to be more than one grenade, 3 or 4 would be better, but no more than that.

If you guys have any ideas that you really would like to see in a mod, PM me and I'll try to do it.

After the shot is fired, if you do not release the left mouse button you will stay in zoomed mode, but to reload a "bolt" action weapon you usually have to move your face "usually" which results in scoping out.

But none the less its a fair request

I agree with both your other Ideas 100%, i'd love to see this officially done by EA and not in Mod aspect, so more people have a chance to play it.

+++I am just listing a suggestion or idea, and am no way saying the game is boring or lacking or anything, its just an Idea I thought of, and I’m sure others have as well+++ I will keep it simple

A weapons Loadout or Weapons changing ability.
(LIMITED LOADOUT OPTIONS)

Function: Just like selecting an “unlock” weapon, the ability to select Grenade launcher attachments, or scopes, even Silencer attachments for some of the weapons, that in real life have them available.

Example. The M4 can have an M203 attached to it, just like an M16. Also has suppression attachments etc.

Loadout Example: M4 Carbine with 1 extra loadout option, Standard, Granade Attachment, Silence/Suppress. So just liek we have 1 unlock option, we could have a Loadout option for optional equipment. Da Da DA!

Added bonus to the Game: More Variety, giving each class even more important roles, as well as re-scaling the battlefield making it harder to find snipers, or infantry in some cases, or giving snipers the ability to change zoom levels etc.

Maybe even vehicle Loadouts, the Commander of the team can select/change. As in the case of the Blackhawk/Seahawk the ability to have 2 guns mounted or have no guns and increased human load capacity. Just ideas to EA

Actually, I have never played that game.

I am stating the Idea out of Real World experience with weapons, and knowing most gaems that portray War, want to try and get as close to Real but keep it arcade as possible. This I feel is a must for thsi game to increase playability, and Longevity of BF2. Its in the zone, the question is, can it stay in the zone.

It would be nice if Engineers could move the AA or AT placements. Nothing more sad then firing a rocket & it blowing up cause theres a crate in the way!

You should be able to choose weapons for the transport as well, How about the DREAD system mounted on the Humvees and Helos, then they would destroy everyone!!!
