Support is my #1 kit so I feel I should be qualified with these findings
PKM: Same accuracy as standard MGs for the most part, greatest stopping power: 3 hit kill anywhere. Less recoil (as in ride up) than the 249, it is most accurate going full auto. Badass noise, 100 round drum, same rleoad, overheats after 51 continuous shots aka takes twice as long as the SAW going automatic. It has a different feel, but once you're used to it it is a step over the default.

PKM is truely the people killing machine!
Thing is incredible. Some times on Urban maps I switch to different kits to fool around, but they minute I need to get even or rack up a few points or even charge a base or get it back..out comes the PKM!
The PKM has the same bullet deviation as the RPK-74. THe M249 and Type95 deviate more. So lets forget the less accurrate guns and just talk about the two most accurate.
The PKM does 45 per hit and fires 450 rounds per minute. The RPK-74 does 35 per hit and fires 600 rounds per minute. Both can kill an unarmored 100 hit point man with 3 bullets. The RPK does shoot faster so it will kill a split second faster than the PKM.
The PKM can kill an armored target in 4 shots, the RPK takes 5 shots, but it does shoot faster so it may even out.
The PKM has a better chance of a single bullet on an injured target, since it does hit slighly harder.
I like the RPK-74 best, but play the PKM when I can't get it.
I got it for my first unlock since Support is my favorite kit but it's really not much of an upgrade. I abandoned that account and started a new one to unlock the DAO-12, which I love (AT is my #2 kit).
