Game loading time

Can someone tell me why it takes so long for my game to start Once the bar at the bottom gets to 100%, it then takes a litle while longer before the join game button appears.

I have a quick pc with a quick video card and 2gb of ram, 1500/256 internet connection.

When I play using teamspeek, the other guys are playing way befor myself.

There's nothing that can be done short of EA removing the file verification process. At present, ~2GB worth of data is being verified causing the delay in loading.

That's odd. I used to have the same problem but I just upgraded to 2 gigs of ram and it got rid of all my BF2 problems.

Yup, same for me. Went from 1 to 2 Gb, and every single crash, waiting time and hangup simply went....POOOF.

Best upgrade for this game, IMHO. 2 gigs is key...

Yep I have stated this many, many times in the client support section. Most of the people in general have never even been to the client support section however.
