VIOP not working

Hi all,
I wonder could ye help me. I've enabled voip in the settings, I can hear the voip test audio coming back at me fine, boost is on, and in-game volume about 55%. In-game coms is assigned to the 'V' key. When I look at the 1player list in a squad, I see all the speaker icons for the squad members (including me), but voip doesnt seem to work. Should I see a speaker icon come up when I hit 'V'? Also, to compound the problem, I lost the manual, so please forgive me if there's an obvious answer in there.

well it might not be enabled on the server you are playing on. or just use teamspeak! much better.

what's even worse is that if you lost the manual you've lost your cd key.

VOIP may not have been enabled on that server, I don't use it so I'm not going to be of much help, sorry

Got it back outta the registry. And then printed it out :)

I can hear the other squad members talking, just not me! :)

hmm, is it maybe that the 'B' key is talk to squad, and V is only for commanders?

I had this same problem, turns out V is the key that the squad leaders use to talk to commanders and B is the key that squad members use to talk to each other. Try that out. When you hit B you should have a little yellow speaker icon that comes up.

Hi All,
Yup, it's the 'B' key all right. Yellow speaker icon fades in just under the top-right mini-map. Havent found many squads that actively use this feature, though..
