I've noticed as of late while playing on Karkand, the amount of medics around has become much less.

I used to be nothing but special forces, but Now im medic and support more, especially on karkand. Thats probably the best map for it because the action is always close by and it helps the team/squad out a lot to have a killed person revived.

If you leave the spawn menu open you cannot be revived.

My friend wanted me to ask, "Which one is the spawn menu, exactly?"

I play a medic alot. I also try very hard not to get killed! It's taken me like 2 weeks to finally get a positive kill/death ratio after some sloppy early play.

So when some fool runs out into the middle of a street and gets shot, then yells medic. I'm not gonna run right out there after him to get shot too. If the gun fire that injured the soldier has been supressed, then I will run out there and revive.

Also, I want to thank all the medics that do run blindly out there to revive the injured enemies in the streets. You've given me some sweet kills, especially when you revive the guy only for both you and he to then get shot dead.

Hey now, I play as a medic quite a bit, and I don't hesitate to revive somebody. In fact, I'll usually end up cussing myself out because I missed somebody by two seconds. However, I do think about whether to revive somebody or not if it's a hot zone. It's very irritating to be revived ten times only to be killed over and over.

I did that to some guy once. Got in a wall mounted gun and proceeded to earn my Basic Engineer Combat badge by adding 7 or so to the 5 I already had. I felt kind of cheap afterwards, though.

Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong - but it just means hit the enter button to bring up the spawn map.
This is probably the most important thing I've seen in this thread - for all those people who don't want to be revived, for whatever reason - JUST HIT THE ENTER BUTTON. All that'll happen is there will be a very confused medic standing there with the paddles going - "CLEAR - hmmmm.... must have flat batteries??" And if he was silly enough to run out in the middle of the hot zone, he won't be confused for long.......

How come everybody says that you should bring up the menu if you don't want to be revived? I've tried this myself, and it doesn't work. The menu just disappears and I'm revived anyway. The best way I've found is to just say "don't revive me, I want to switch kits" or something like that.

It doesn't matter if you get revived and re-killed.. it's not like it hurts your stats at all. It's not like it will rack up the deaths for you. YOu only get one death, and the death is not recorded until you respawn. Yes, the medic is getting points, Yes, the killer is getting points, but who cares, you aren't losing out... unless you are super low on ammo

Exactly...I play medic frequently...and I noticed this early on and always wondered why people complained about getting revived in a hot zone. I mean, you have a 50-50 chance of getting up and being able to "get back to the fight"...and if you die and I die in the process...you haven't lost anything but the one death you were already expecting.

I even 'naded one of my team mates (it was an accident, honest) and revived him all within seconds...no harm no foul game on.

Behind every winning team are a few good medics...(or a black hawk full of flag cappers)

To everyone who gets annoyed from dying when revived, do you really think the medic knows you are going to die instantly most of the time? I play medic a lot and when I revive someone I dont know theres a noob tubers behind me waiting for me to revive you. It happens VERY often and its no ones fault. Some will run threw fire just to get the point but those people are few and far between.

Hi, i dont mean to dis or flame any medics ere but im sick of youse not doing your damn jobs, for christ sake whenever i get critically wounded and call for a medic no one helps me even if they are standing right beside me they still dont do there job!

I was always a medic when i was lance corpal. I was always doing my job. Giving medic packs, reviving, and following my squad and revive them.
But when i am dead there is a medic right next to me and he wont revive me!

And now that i am Corpal i am Spec opps. Now when i need a medic he wont do anything! and he is right next to me!

Now that i think of it, i think i am the best medic ever. I guess thats why i got a good score :) for reviving and healing people :)

I like to throw grenades on the enemy bodies calling for medics. It makes the voices go away. :)

If I ever see anybody die I am always there for them unless there is a tank there just waiting to kill you then i dont, besides that i am always there for my teammates.

I always revive as many people as i can.

I really hate when I tk someone by accident and they punish me. They expect me to revive them but what I like to do is just throw medic packs on top of their lifeless corpse. Punish that beyotch!

If I play medic my main goal is to revive or heal people, if I play support then my main goal is to give ammo.
