i highly doubt its real. why? in one spot it says you will not be able to repair from inside the helo but a little further down it says that repairs from inside the helo with take longer.

Where does it say you won't be able to repair from inside the heli? From I can see, it doesn't that that any where.

This seems pretty legit to me. No awful grammer mistakes, no real misspellings (if any, wasn't nit-picking while I read it) so it looks better than the usual hoax. Unless EA pointedly says that this info is phoney, I'll bank on it being real.

For example...if you're in the Cobra with another teammate and you get destroyed by the Mi-28...sometimes you'll get a [Teamkill] message toward the other person in the chopper with you. I've been the pilot and have been deducted for a TK when we were destroyed by the enemy, and the same thing has happened to me when I have been co-pilot as well.

It drives me NUTS!!!

I hope EA Games wll actually fix all of those thing that they say they will, because that is what BF2 needs.

DICE made the ranks so hard to get, its like you have to play your whole life just to get promoted.

They also should lower down the requirments for getting awards, I think that they made it way to hard to get.

My problem with it is I just left the clan I was with and had their freaking tag in my account name that has almost 30k points. If we could even do a one time change that would be nice. So I could change it to just StateCop. As it stands now I would have the new tag and the old tag all in my name. I have started another account but it makes me about mad enough to say screw it. Every other game has addressed this problem and I dont see where there would be any reason we cant change our whole name atleast just 1 time. After all we are tracked by player ID from my understanding.

They screw themselves if they announce everything and everyone talks on the forums about it and get s excited and then they decide at the last minute not to change something they already publicized. You guys would never let them forget and all hell would break loose!

They do really need to fix the Tk problems though, I was piloting a heli the other night carrying 4 other players and we were shot down. I was told I was responsible for TK'ing everyone and then they all punished me like little h o m o's!!! I was so ****ed I slammed my fist into my keyboard and vowed I would never play this game again. I haven't played since and thinking about it now even makes my blood boil...

You have my sympathies. Once the commander ordered that I mine one narrow entrance to a base leaving the other wider one for friendly pass , then a full-loaded apc of my team, I guess it was a whole squad and the driver should have seen me planting, drove straighforward to those red skulls. The result:1/they punished me; 2/some enemy vehicles came through that way and captured our flag soon after; 3/ I learned a lesson that mines are more dangerous to my own team and myself. Now I only throw them to tanks/apcs like grenade.

uhhh criteria for gaining rank and awards has been changed...FINALLY...if this is true im a happy man ...good that i only got 7k points...maybe its easier to get some higher ranks

At the official Battlefield 2 site, it says that there are more than 140 fixes in the next patch, so this is nowhere near the whole list, if true.

I doubt these are the real details. Why? Because it all has what we want, and Dice/EA does not give us what we want.

EDIT: The new map also gives it away. A free map? Come on...

My money is on that these are accurate, except this patch is now going to be called 1.1 not 1.03.
I have seen this from other seemingly very valid sources.

If the ranks are fixed I will be playing this game even more because it keeps me going when I gain ranks, points, medals etc.

The other fixes sound good but this is my main problem caz to get from 1 000 points to 10 500 points is just rediculous

Engineer/Helicopter· Modified the rate at which engineer can repair a helicopter while sitting in the helicopter. It now takes longer for the engineer to repair the helicopter.

Vehicle/Control Point Capture· Only one person in a vehicle counts towards a control point capture. If passengers want to increase the rate of the flag change, they must disembark from the vehicle.
