    Re: Killin' Music

Damn, I hate it when the music topic comes up because it’s what I live for. I respect ALL music because everything takes a degree of skill and each genre is filled with it’s own quirks and difficulties.

I for one, live for deathmetal and I always have since I was 10….started very young. I started out on guitar and am now a full-time drummer. Music is NOT easy to do (right anyways) and from writing drum parts to chaotic deathmetal guitar riffs to programming and mixing a drum/bass beat to a rap song is some tough s***. I just got out of a 3 month recording session for the new CD and ******* hell was it hard and stressful

It’s not about what takes more skill to play; it’s about the feeling you get from listening/playing the music. The high I get from playing from 5-1000 ppl can never be described…..seeing a ton of people just bangin their heads and having a killer time. Same goes to listening, the rush I get from popping in some old Metallica or Morbid Angel is AWSOME!!!! If it makes you feel good……**** it, who cares what anyone else thinks.

      For me?

Nile: The Howling of the Jinn
      Nile: Churning the Maelstrom
      Amon Amarth: Death in Fire
Cryptopsy: Anything off of "None So Vile"
      Vader: Silent Empire
      Vader: Wings

Generally if it's actually heavy (this excludes mallcore like Slipknot and Mudvayne), it rules for games.

Yea brutal is right. No one but you, whatever your name is, is flamming. I respect all music. I dont have to like a certain catogory of music. Its what you like. There is no need to get flammed for a certain type of music that you listen to. END OF STORY.

I like rap, but dont love it. Most of the songs suck, but some are actually good. I just hate it when white kids try and act "Gansta". It's fuggin stupid lookin'. Take the cap off, buy some jeans that actually fit you, and stop acting like a dumbass.

I mean, seriously. Most black people dont even act like that..:|:

Ontopic: I love music, but I couldn't stand listening to it during a game. I gotta focus my mind, hands, and fast reflexes.
