Unlocking Guns in offline mode

How do I unlock the weapons in offline mode. I have gone to singleplayer while being logged in and have the medic gun unlocked. When i play singleplayer it is not unlocked. Any suggestions? Thanks

I haven't been able to figure that out either. I think there is a console command you can use. I tried to look in the program for a setting to mess with but I am afraid of changing something that will be picked up on and get my account banned. I hope someone of "higher rank" can answer this for us

No, it means that in the 1.02 patch the 'hack' was disabled by Dice. Although I'm not entirely sure why.

Heh- no. The patch made it impossible to enable the weapons. I kind of like it this way. To be honest, once I get a cheat code a play it for a while, any game gats boring after a while. I like the fact that we have to work hard to get a new weapon unlock... But you are right- It should be availabel in single play so we can practice with it.

Or just find a server that says UNLOCKED on it, or find the one with "Allow Global Unlock 1" That is of course if your using gamespy, allseeingeye, or those server search programs

Hey guys,
I have this done at home but I am at work now. I remember changing one of the unlocks.psy (i think thats the file name) within the python subfolder in the main battlefield directory. Open that file with any text editor and change the FIRST set of unlocks (should be something like {0, 0, 0, 0...} ) and change those values to {1, 1, 1....}. Hope this helps.

This DOES NOT WORK if you update your game from version 1.0.0

If you mess with that file, it won't unlock anything and EA could ban your account for a week if they see it. If you really want to play around with this, uninstall the game and reinstall it-using the raw version. Of course you won't be able to play online again until you update to the latest version.

Thanks for your help guys. It wasn't the answer I wanted. I am close to my 2nd gun unlock and wanted to try the different guns out before I unlocked the next one.

Just play on an Global Unlocked server, they are unranked, but at least you get to play against real people. Try www.game-monitor.com and search.

i cant see any reason why not to sllow people to try out unlocked wepaons in single player to try them out.

Afterall who plays single player other than for practise?

You guys enoughwith the whole "Use the search button" give them there damn answer they are only asking for help my god.. and i beleive you can no longer unlock guns in single player with the 1.02 patch.

it's in the US and right now, it says [ 13/18 ] playing on kubra dam. oh, btw, ALL WEAPONS ARE UNLOCKED! so go try your would-be new weapon against human opponents. see how good/bad it really is before choosing your next unlock.
