Using Mods???

Ok I have used mods in the past but nothing big, I have used like skins in Cs and medal of honour but. I need some explanation on how these mods on this page work http://www.totalbf2.com/community/mods/

Do they totally take over bf2 and when im playing is it different from someone else Ie im playing....DC and they are playing regular??

or do I have to find different server for each mod?
how many mods can i have?
Do they conflict with eachother?

Sorry for being a noob i usually just stick with official stuff but since bf2 isnt really finished and the SF comming out God only knows when. I want to try something new if any are working yet.

Alot of the big mods will come with a desktop shortcut and you click that instead of your BF2 shortcut.

The one's that dont come with a shortcut you start the game as normal click on the comunity tab and then game moge(i think) and select the mod you wish to play.


No they dont overwrite your normal BF2 game they work in conjuction with it.
