A bug or a cheat ?

Whilst playing on an EA euro server today as USMC on Karkland (think thats how you spell it) a guy called axeface - Sergt i believe was according to the TAB page on the US side. He was killing other US soldiers and appeared to be spawning in US spawn spots.

The problem was his character was dressed as MEC guy and you couldnt punish him. However other players on same side who TK could be punished.

He killed me at least twice and both times it said he TK'd me (in blue writing). I was defintately on the US SIDE

He finished the game as the top scorer. Now i checked several times pressing tab and making sure I was still US SIDE. I couldnt believe it and I guess some of you wont either.



Anyone else seen this before or was it just a bug. It happend about 5 mins before the game ended.

Bug.

I've seen something similar. Player in another unigorm with the Blue spelling of the name above the character and similar kill/tk stuff.

I've also shot guys in other uniforms than myself with red names only to be charged with a TK.

Annoying, but it happens i guess

Knowing EA, its a bug :P But you never know.. strange one really.

It's a lame hack. I've read about it while trying to find what the cheaters are doing in the game. I'd post the site but I don't want to inadvertently encourage that sort of thing.

i wanna see some of the hacks too to find out what hack this one guy used it was gay, can u just give the website so I can see what they r useing

It is NOT a hack...it is a game bug.

But this is the opposite of having the red bug, which is when your team mates have red tags.

Blue bug is when the ENEMY has a Blue tag of course. This is why it showed him TK'ing but you couldn't punish him...because they were NOT tk's, but actual kills. But when it didn't say tk...that was an actual tk because he killed a MEC.

With red bug, the score screen shows the bugged player as being on the other team.
With blue bug, the player is shown on your team, and can possibly even be in your squad!
I think this is also how 7 people get into a squad sometimes. The 7th guy is a blue bug.

The solution is to pay attention to the unifroms. The uniform NEVER lies!

bug man, have seen it, have even had it myself, after autobalance switched me, my team was hal blue half red, and if I would kill an enemy I got teamkills, and when I killed teammates, I got kills, but instead of playing further on killing teammates I just left the server

It was on either game-deception.com or befeared.com. Neither of which seem to be up anymore luckily. Not that it makes any difference. What you described was a hack you could download, that while it may exploit a bug in the engine, was a hack to let you do it at your whim.

its a bug... its spelled Karkand not Karkland. its amazing how many people think theres an L in it
