i just got my new PC back from repairs and have started on BF2 demo but ther is a big problem with the shadows i have heard that u need certain drivers but i cannot find them i run on a nvidia geforce 6800 ULTRA. PS when i try to fly US' vertical take of plane it jus goes foward then rapidly arcs to the right and explodes :'( HELP!

i would try some periods some grammer maybe even some commas would be nice to have in your post it is normal to use some in a post of this nature it helps seperate where one sentence ends and another begins i would go to the nvidia website and download the newest drivers for my video card it is http://www.nvidia.com for the jet i would check your key assignments maybe they got messed up at repairs i hope this helps and is easy for you to read and understand have a nice day -

Just update the Nvidia drivers to the latest version. You have to push down or reverse to take off vertically. Also make sure you click the invert controls box in the aircraft controls panel. This will make the plane pull up when you pull the mouse back and nose down when you push forward.Originally posted by AdamsComment

im on a joystick and it works fine for helis just the vertical takeoff jet just sort rolls to the rightand dies lol.Comment

You might want to delete the contents of your profile directory and start your control setup from scratch again.
C:\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles
Remember..this does not delete your account. You simply have to 'Retrieve' it again from the account management screen the next time you run BF2.Comment
