I was playing today as the USMC on Operation clean sweep. Some guy didn't like the fact he was copilot and I was pilot and fired his TV guided missle which came around and hit us. How is that possible? I thought it has delay on movement, and it can move only soo many times.

Maybe by fastly tappin up, it may do a quick loop and hit the copter. But this just a theory.Comment

I think that the tv missile moves too fast, not enough time for it to loop round

Sorry i read your thread wrong, but i think there is a cheat out with tv guided missles, for Jets that is. I have been in servers with jets and there tv guided ground missle taken out other jets and everything, Sounds like a aimbot to me. Seen it twice so farComment

lol, all ur focus is on the missle, but maybe its the heli, the missle can only move so much as i'm concerned i've tried it on an empty server,i parked the heli, got into the co-pilot deat and tried it, but the missle was too fast, so i conclude that the heli must be also moving away from the position when the missle was fired, and into the missles loop trajectory. that is my two cents, maybe someone can go test it out

When you fire it, don't change it's direction right away. Let it go straight for a few seconds then turn around. I'm sure you can hit your own heli then.Comment

I fail to see how taking out planes with laser guided missiles is a cheat. I've done it myself a few times, all you need is a good pilot who can get real close to the enemy jet, and guide your missile to the target.
You don't need a lock-on to hit.Comment

my gunner chased a jet around the backside of a mountain on cleansweep the other day, it was a fellow clanmember too, but the missle ran out of distance before it got to him....
someone that really knows what they're doing with the TV should be able to do it, I've seen my gunner take down attack helos from huge distances, steering it several times on the way...Comment

can't realy believe the tv misile van loop and hit yourself, but I have had gunners in my chopper who just shoot the tv misile and they always hit, even things that are not in the viewdistance (and mine stads 100%Comment

That could be just as much from good map watching as from some cheat. Also, while damned hard it *is* possible to laser-guide a laser-guided missile into a jet (I got a random kill with one once, I was just firing them off in case I got lucky, and whaddya know the fighter my pilot was chasing breaks right in front of my missile), so I wouldn't be *too* quick to yell "Hack!" a that one either (unless they manage to get a half a dozen jet kills with it... that's just a bit much for me to believe even from a really good gunner, unless they're up against some really BAD pilots).Comment
