    Re: Over Clocking

using an artic cooler on the CPU and stock on the X800XL with 2 120 mm case fans.. i have been thinking it may be heat causing my problems.. (50c under stress when oc approx 10%)

seriously thinking of a water cooling rig.. or the fridge cases... phase is it?

Who told you that BF2 hates overclocking ?? LOL !!

BF2, like any other software 'hates' unstable/overheating systems.

If you overclock properly and make sure the system is stable BF2 and all the other games out there won't have any idea you are overclocked

BF2 seems to be the problem as my OC'ed system is stable with all Stress test and other games.. Its BF2 which does not like it... Hence my comments

Well sorry m8 but, in the nicest way possible thats absolute rubbish

You are probably overheating, have a 'flaky power supply' or some dodgy memory
