i remember when dice/ea hyped this up. on how you could upload your clans symbols and stuff. I think counterstrike has this feature.......or something like it. There was gonna be huge additional things for clans. I believe they even said they were gonna include the symbols of clans on the soldiers, uniforms. So, everyone in game would see them.
But, i also remember them saying........mmm nah, scratch that we aint doing that.
Be cool, if they added those original features somewheres down the line.
Hell looking at your BF2 box, they show a picture of the blackhawk with the missle launchers on the side. How the hell can they even legaly put that picture on the box, when it doesnt really represent whats in the game.

It's kind of interesting.

In that screenshot you can see the option of a built in MP3 player. Anyone find it funny that in the latest poll they listed an MP3 Player as asking one of the things we'd like to see?

I find it funny EA can spend all this money on getting a UH-1 to deliver BF2 to their company store and all that crap, yet they can't even release even half the features we WANTED that were promised with the game. How could would THAT have been if we got what we were promised right out of the box? (or even got a game that wasn't more buggy than an ant farm)

I would like to see the missle launchers on the blackhawks. Accurate stinger missles to take down those God-Forsaken jets. Those two things would be excellent.

i think personal character customization would have been cool, say

boonie hats/protek hockey helmets/ choose between the old camo patterns and the new digital(breaks up nightvision better, for anyone wondering)

I bet we would've gotten all of those features, along with a better game in all, if only DICE and EA would acutally spend time on making the game, and not a damn expansion pack.

I would have to say that mp3 player compatibility and character customization are some of the better features that they left out of game. Character customization is important in the game because everyone looking the same gets kinda boring though. I would have to say that new screen looks a bit better though.

Maybe that would've been the way to buy expansions. Except they would have been smaller expansions, issued more often.

Or it was a more differentiated unlock system? Maybe you could unlock certain features armpatch/skins/ect.. instead of just unlocking one gun
