    About non full screen: dunno

About connection problems: Probably nothing to do with your pc except your internet connection, try to boost that up. And playing with 512 MB RAM is no problem, i also have that much (although more is better, but still has nothing to do with connection problems).

A good server: http://www.clanptg.com. On the left side of the screen you can see ip's and ports (also players in server,...) of each [PTG] server.

If you want a windowed game you could try inserting a command after the shortcut of BF2. Please Note that this might not work; it depends if Battlefield 2 will detect this as a cheat or alteration of the game. This does however work on othergames...

Right Click on the shortcut and hit properties; you will see the following command line:
        "C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/BF2.exe"

Try adding the following text (See below):

        "C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/BF2.exe" fullscreen=false

        Hope it Helps

Re: how do you make it non-full screen?

just found this in another thread:

You can also enable game.allowToggleFullScreen 1 , then you can either ALT+ENTER or you can type game.ToggleFullScreen and then the game runs in a window.
they mean in the console ("²" button with me)

let me know if it works
