Hrm it kinda reminds me of a mad splintercell and bf2 with night maps and a couple of new toys thrown in. Doesnt look anything special to me.

However i AM hopeing that with the release of this expansion it will kind of draw away the "kiddy" element of BF2 and leave the more mature players to play as it should be played.

I mean BF2 online atm just seems like a crazy UTfest, just set in "todays battlefield".

I was in a 64 player server man map on operation cleansweep (the whole map) and it was full. It was total chaos lol, teams running backwards and forwards like UT chickens, more often than not enemy speeding past you and just carrying on instead of engageing. Players seemingly not knowing which direction they want to run/walk/drive in. The sky was full of jets n copters all vehicles were out.., it was kinda funny for a while but then it got annoying as there as next to no-structure at all, just a complete fragfest.

With a bit of luck the "i wannabe a supersoldier and pwn everyone" mentality might switch over to the expansion pack.

Dont think i will be buying it, i will prolly be more inclined to get into the mod community.

I have to agree with many others though, who are the other team...the A-team??? They fire lots of shots but never actually hit anyone

The one thing that worries me a bit, and perhaps someone could advise me on this, is that the effect when the tear gas goes off is great but will it not reeeaaaaallllllyy slow down your frame rate as i know things like smoke etc cause 'problems'?

Nope. It's a G36C. Short barrel, 4 vent holes, iron sight and rail configuration. The fullsize G36 has 6 vent holes and a much longer barrel and foregrip, not to mention the 1.5/3x scope configuration. The only thing this one lacks in comparision to the current G36C is the R.I.S. grip underneith it.

Regarding the video... it's the same thing. I think the crossbows will be severely overused. Not to mention I don't intend to waste a dime on an expansion until I see a decent patch (and I don't see that coming anytime soon after they cancelled "late August" :p ).
