red X's not appering sometimes?

Hey guys, question, sometimes red X's (mines) are not appering sometimes? The reason I know this is my buddie and I play right next to each other at work. Has anyone else seen this?

For example: I will be throwing down claymore or AT mines and he will be around me and wont see any red X's and it will happen to me as well.

Maybe you turned off your minimaps?

Not that I can tell, its the ones on the ground in front of you that dont show up. My buddie can see them but I cant. Then sometimes I can.

You can toggle the X's and other things by pushing ALT.

So if you hit alt you wont see them.

Same with me, I can see a flag, run to it and BOOM! I get TKd... WTF? Minimap is on...

no, 3D map! its the thing that shows you where flags are, and also claymores, AT mines and C4s.

Look at a flag and hit ALT and if it appears (the logo) then leave it like it...

Sorry, I ment to say 3d Map. I can see the Flag but not the mine!
