Laptop with x700 works best with...

I recently bought a laptop : Fujitsu Siemens m1437g
Intel Centrino M 2Ghz
Ati X700
1024 ram
80 Gb Sata harddrive

And my problem is that when i upgrade to the latest ati driver bf 2 get's buggy and if i get the almost half year old driver from fujitsu site then it works. Why is that ?

Its probably becasue you have a MOBILE card, thats why. Its not the same as a desktop card.

Well i upgrade to the latest mobile driver not the normal one. So it should give me a better performance not a lousy er one. We all upgrade our drivers for better performance or some extra features or some bugs that have been corrected. Isent this true ?

Theoretically that's what is "supposed" to happen with the latest drivers. Unfortunately it doesn't always happen, alot of new drivers will cause some games to perform worse. Just stick with what works and if it ain't broke don't fix it.
