Re: The Crew Service Ribbon...
I had a friend flying the MEC bomber on Oman and I got mine. We were on teamspeak and he was flying and I was spotting and dropping and we cleaned up.

Re: The Crew Service Ribbon...
This is what you need to do, 13 Driver Kill Assists in 1 Round, 5 Kills in same Round.
So driving or flying will get you it!

Re: The Crew Service Ribbon...
The way I got this one was on top of a tank. I just jumped in the gunner seat with my SL driving and we went around Karkand on a rampage. If you stick with him and do a little tank whoring and the guy is halfway decent tank driver, you will get it no problem (as long as you can get 5 kills as well).

Re: The Crew Service Ribbon...
Huh? You got it from being the gunner on a tank?
I thought you had to be driving the veichle to get it.
It does say "13 DRIVER Kill Assists in 1 Round". Funny...
Well, that makes it even easier... Thanks all!

Re: The Crew Service Ribbon...
That's how i got mine, just jump in the back of an apc on karkland and start shooting. Double bones, be an engineer and repair the vehicle for the driver and get your eng. badge. Get a death ratio of 4:1 and you could have a purple heart too! If you like that sort of thing.....Originally posted by evilzucchiniThe way I got this one was on top of a tank. Still struggling for the 'The Meritorious Unit Ribbon'
Team score of 40 in one round no prob ... but I guess rounds arn't long enough to stay 26 minutes

Re: The Crew Service Ribbon...
Yeah, marwin, for some reason it doesn't matter whether you are driving or not. Just as long as someone else in your vehicle gets the "driver kill assist." Maybe it is taking into account that you might be spotting or do damage by shooting as well. Who knows, but that is how it works.
However, the problem with the APC is that sometimes you get a "kill assist" as opposed to a "driver kill assist."
The driver will get the kill, one passenger will get the "driver kill assist" and the others get just a plain "kill assist." (that is just my interpretation of how it happens, it might be different). However, in a tank, there is only one spot, so you will always get the "driver kill assist."
