Video Settings to make enemy stand out as much as possible ??

As title says what settings do you use so you can see the enemy the easiest against terrains/textures. I mean what are the ideal video settings that will help you get the best score (not nec look the nicest)!

Lighting => Low as seen here: http://www.tweakguides.com/BF2_5.html

    Removes building shadows.

Lighting to low does remove the shadows inside buildings etc, but it makes everything look like a DirectX 8 game!

In my opinion it actually makes everything blur together in a big hazy blob (well, that's a bit of exaggeration...), and I don't find myself picking out hidden infantry any better. It also removes the muzzle flashes of gunfire, so you don't see the ground light up around a hidden gunman when they are firing at you.

the onlu thing thet realy helps is using the highest resolution your pc can handle, how higher the resolution is how more the characters get detailed, this way there is a bigger diference between the characters and there suroundings

basic lighting only affects buildings. dynamic lighting is what does muzzle flash. dynamic shadows is what does ppl and vehicles.

you can have ppl and vehicle shadows without building shadows. i do.

Wow, I just got home from work and tried this - you're right! Thankyou, I stand corrected.

I gotta say it looks pretty messed up though! It still has that "brown smudge" look about everything, but troops are a little easier to pick out.

When playing with my settings, I think I must have either been changing both lighting settings together, or not noticed the muzzle flashes since everything is so well lit up anyway.

For the guy posting (and me, not having a very good grafic brd.), I use only the Geometry set to max.

                      Greets.

wouldnt that only be affected by draw distance and geometery only affect landscape morphing as it got closer?

I guess Distance Scale only affects what u see far away from ur position... and geometry controls what/ how u see near (medium dist.) u.
