Another lame clan/server

Greetings

Was playing on [LRDG] server tonight and I was owning in a f35b when 2 of the [LRDG] clan arrive and try to own in the mec bomber so I proceed to shoot them down and then not let them off the ground again.

After the 3rd time I crucified them I was kicked so I came back and asked why, to which I was told I was spawn raping.

HHMMM let me see here...... one man in a jet destroying tactical enemy equipment and personel..........

Dosent sound like spawn rape to me.

Anyhooo I said cobblers to that and proceded to shoot them down again to which I was kicked and banned.

Here ends the story and my verdict...........

Well, it's basic - if they had any more base left - you spwaned raped. If not - they should have not kicked you.

You should have stopped base raping if they asked you. IF they didnt warn u at all, their fault.

Also note that some server rules ask specifically for no base raping.

But xxThe_Dice_manxx, if you'll practice your flying skills more you'll be amazed what you can do. Base raping with a jet is the easiest thing to do in all the game. You'll help your team much more if you could destory targets such as tanks, APCs and choppers on the infentries request (without TK). An enemy that is on his home base doing nothing is no threat to no one - he is not fighting and he might occupie a vehical that otherwise would be doing damage in the front.
And personaly I think destorying jets on the ground as a strategy is just being a chicken.

The fact that you go on and on and keep boming unmanned jets, or just before they take off makes you a spwan raper. If you happen to pass by and you have no mission - I could see why you'd drop a few bombs on the air field. But going on at it, unless the enemy has no more bases left - is lame.

Jets are the biggest stat padding device in this game. They outrun aa missle, resupply without landing, and lets not get into the crap physics. Most pilots in them do nothing but drop bombs on troops before they even get off the ground only to rack up kills. I am a big flight sim buff and hate people who say they are great pilots in BF2 only to find out they do nothing but drop bombs on helpless troops and empty helis. Hopefully the patch or mod will make aa missle more accurate so these so called pilots will not be able to run away from a radar lock.:ar15:

...And then we all come to the sad realization that it's just a game. These threads about "lame" clans and players are getting old. Just learn to let it go, as there are plenty of other servers out there.

I hate people whining about spawn camping. These babies need to grow up and realize that its all a part of war.

Next thing that'll come around is a rule that once a team takes a capable base outside of their main that you can't go after them there!

Wonder how the US would have reacted if Iraq had screamed... "SPAWN CAMPERS!".


Besides. If you can't take care of your main base...you shouldn't be attacking any other ones.

its called runway camping or vultching, which is ok for clan matches, not for pubbing.

You all have probably noticed lately all the ranked NON-EA servers are starting to fill up that lower box with a lot of their own little rules. For example no chopper flag caps, no bunny hoping, must join a squad, blaa, blaa, blaa.

More and more I just go over to the EA only servers.

You all have probably noticed lately all the ranked NON-EA servers are starting to fill up that lower box with a lot of their own little rules. For example no chopper flag caps, no bunny hoping, must join a squad, blaa, blaa, blaa.

More and more I just go over to the EA only servers.

You just mentioned three rules that would attract me to a server. Please stay on EA's servers and take anyone else who thinks like you along, you won't be missed.

Wow, that's really interesting. Why don't you tell me more? Actually, don't - it would be a waste of time and resources. Sorry, we don't do naming and shaming on TotalBF2 - be it people or servers. Find another server, there's plenty of fish in the sea.
