Before i started playing bf2 i played Desert Combat and if there is something i miss from that game,that is AK-47,just like in DC,nothing more,nothing less......great accuracy on long distance,much more power-
one shot in face and youre gone....the way it spread bullets at 2,3,5 shot
bursts.....thats the way assault rifle(at least upgrade!) should behave....
I havent tried g3 yet,but i want to beleave it is better then stock AK....and by the way,AK(both wersions) are best weapons for every type of situations in bf2,imo

no you're missing the point, radar! its not about guns man, its about saving ppls freaking lives! these kids should be off stealing kisses at the barn dance, bobbing for apples or playing baseball! not dying in some god forsaken hell for a reason they dont understand!

f35b..well thats technically a weapon...and i love it..but other than that..the m16...powerful accurate and bursts keep u from wasting ammo...

and for those of you who have unlcoked it..m95...its so fun to use once u kno how to use it...taking pilots out of helis..

I have used all the weapons, and all the unlocks (single player cheat, before the patch) and the best weapon in the game is either the M24 for snipers, or the M16. I would go with the M16. It is downright deadly in close combat battles with its burst fire, and it is one of the best long range weapons (without single shot activated) When I play as an american medic, I use the M16, even though i have the L85A1. It is just a much better gun.

I also have unlocked the M95, and admit that it is absolutely hilarious when you shoot a BH pilot, and watch the chopper spin out of control. Im about to give you some great advice. Now that you have used the M95 for a while, switch to the M24 for a round. You will see such a huge difference. I did. It just seems sooooooooooo much easier to get headshots and shots with people on the run with the M24 now that I used the M95 for so long and had to get used to the inacurassy.

I'd say either the AK47 or the AK101. It's easily possible to get three fire modes from them, they accurate over various distances and powerful aswell.

AK101 is good, but i find its better than USMC stock m16, and on a par with G3. Its good as it doesn't run out of ammo so quickly, but is a bit slow to fire. But thats just me, maybe im wrong. I don't play MEC much anyway.

G3 - high damage, great at low/med distance, very accurate. On the other hand lack of m203 makes it worse then the stock assault gun.
On the other hand the best weapon in the game is a well balanced team. Can take down everything :)
